According to European press, Mbappe signed a contract with Real before EURO 2024 started. The French superstar will be in Madrid next Monday or Tuesday. Immediately afterwards, Mbappe returned to Clairefontaine “headquarters” to practice with his French teammates, ready for EURO 2024.

Since February, Mbappe has set Real as his next stop. According to France24 , Real cannot meet the salary Mbappe receives at PSG in the 2023/24 season (more than 70 million euros). “White Vulture” was only willing to pay Mbappe 15-20 million euros in the first season and Mbappe accepted this.

The Bernabeu home team owns the number 1 star of the French national team without spending a penny. Previously, L’Equipe reported that PSG has not yet paid Mbappe his 80 million euro loyalty bonus. The “rich guy” of French football was angry when Mbappe decided to go to Real on a free transfer. PSG asked Real to pay 80 million euros for Mbappe but President Florentino Perez refused.

On Transfer Markt , Mbappe is being valued at 180 million euros. The star 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 1998 joining Real is the best free transfer deal in football history.

Two years ago, Mbappe almost joined Real. At that time, the French player only had one year left on his contract with PSG. Mbappe desires to move to the Royal team. President Perez also tried to convince Mbappe, trying to negotiate with PSG to make a transfer worth 100 million euros when the striker 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in 1998 only had one year left on his contract. Mbappe’s final decision is to stay at PSG.

Further, Real was determined to recruit Mbappe in the summer of 2017. At that time, the French international had a brilliant first season in the AS Monaco shirt. President Perez personally convinced Mbappe to come to Madrid, but the striker chose a safer move than PSG.

Mbappe has played more than 300 matches at club level, scoring 287 goals. He had 77 more matches for France, scoring 46 goals. Joining Real is the next step for Mbappe to aim for the Champions League title and more ambitiously conquer the Golden Ball award.
