Showbiz power couple Emily Blunt and John Krasinski’s former Hollywood Hills home is going up for grabs! The 3,600 sq ft mansion is located above Mulholland Drive and has been re-listed on the market with an asking price of US$6 million.
From homes in London (where they currently live) to New York and Hollywood, the A Quiet Place stars have proved that they clearly have good taste and aren’t afraid to hold back when it comes to property investments.
Blunt and Krasinski, who got married in a private ceremony at George Clooney’s Lake Como estate back in 2010, are both well respected in the industry and have an impressive line-up of films and TV shows under their belts.
Blunt, one of 2022’s highest-paid actresses, and Krasinski bought the 3,600 sq ft Hollywood Hills home in 2014 for US$2.6 million and spent the next two years adding their own unique style to the four-bedroom home.
Located above Mulholland Drive at the end of a private cul-de-sac and hidden behind tall trees, the home was built in 1965 but looks showroom new.
The lush yard includes a huge partially covered flagstone patio, a fountain and extensive landscape lighting, a gazebo, saltwater pool, beautiful green grass, topiaries, and views of the mountains, canyon and city skyline. Most special are the large leafy oak and olive trees, some of which appear to predate the 58-year-old home.
The inside of the home is just as inviting as the outside with glass walls throughout and motorised skylights and retractable blinds to bring in the bright Southern California sunshine. A brilliant foyer leads into the timeless open-concept floor plan with hardwood floors throughout.
