Tips to repel ants with spices are available in every home, effective immediately after one application

Below are quick and easy ways to get rid of ants with just household ingredients and spices.

Lemon contains acid that is powerful in repelling ants.

Use vinegar and water

Vinegar is one of the common ingredients in every household and is also an effective “weapon” method to repel ants. You can mix vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio, then pour this mixture into a spray bottle. When you detect ants, you just need to spray this solution on the area where the ants are. The smell of vinegar will make ants stay away from these places immediately. This is a simple but very effective way to protect your living space.

Use lemon

Lemon contains acid that is powerful in repelling ants. You can use lemon peel or lemon juice in places where ants often appear. In addition, placing a few lemon slices in the corner of the house or at the door will also prevent ants from entering. The smell of lemon not only helps repel ants but also brings a pleasant fragrance to your home.

Sugar and Boric Acid Mixture

Boric acid is a natural insecticide. You can mix boric acid with sugar in a 1:1 ratio, then spread this mixture in places where ants often appear. Ants will be attracted to sugar and bring this mixture back to the nest. Boric acid will slowly destroy them. This method takes time but is very effective in 𝓀ð’ū𝓁𝓁ing ants completely.

Use soapy water

Another simple way is to use soapy water. Just dissolve a small spoonful of dishwashing liquid in a cup of water, then spray this solution on the ants. Soapy water will change the surface tension and cause the ants to suffocate. This method is safe, easy to implement and can be applied immediately when needed.

Spices in the kitchen: Black pepper and cinnamon powder

If you want to avoid using chemicals, kitchen spices like black pepper and cinnamon powder are also good options. Sprinkle black pepper or cinnamon powder where ants are active to keep them away. The strong scent of these spices makes ants uncomfortable and do not dare to approach.
