From time to time, Nicki Minaj fans will collectively work to make one of her songs a hit once again. Their buying power as a group has now helped one tune from the rapper return to a handful of Billboard charts following a purchasing spree–one that sees the cut’s sales sum explode.
“Pink Friday Girls” reappears on two Billboard rankings this week. The track returns to a pair of purchase-focused rankings, as her Barbz–the name she’s given her fan base–were quick to support one of her recent smashes, even though it’s not new.
In the past tracking period, “Pink Friday Girls” sold a little more than 2,200 copies, according to Luminate. The week prior, the song only sold just north of 100 copies. That means the tune experienced a growth in sales of 1,773% in only a matter of days.
All those purchases have helped “Pink Friday Girls” find space on the Digital Song Sales chart once again. The tune has now spent only three weeks on the list of the bestselling titles in the country, including this latest turn.
This week, “Pink Friday Girls” is back at No. 22 on the Digital Song Sales chart. The ranking only features 25 spaces, so Minaj’s win narrowly made it back to the list. In the past, the cut has risen as high as No. 5.
“Pink Friday Girls” performs much better on the Rap Digital Song Sales chart. On that genre-specific list, Minaj’s cut breaks back into the running at No. 3. It’s only ever climbed one spot higher, as it stalled a single rung shy of ruling.

Minaj never properly released “Pink Friday Girls” as a single, but fans have selected it as a favorite several times in the past. The tune is featured on her latest album Pink Friday 2, which dropped in late 2023. The hip-hop powerhouse is currently in the middle of a world tour to promote the project.
