There are also large Smart TVs installed in each room. The cabin was recently remodelled in August of 2022. No steep hills lead to the cabin. Whaley’s Country Store is 2.2 miles away, Pigeon Forge is 7.3 Miles and Gatlinburg 17.1 Miles. The cabin is close to attractions, but still secluded so you can enjoy peace and quiet. This cabin features a multicode, a fire pit and calming creek views. Large windows allow for a better view of the surrounding area and a more relaxing experience. Maximum 6 passengers can be accommodated in the cabin, with a maximum of 2 vehicles.

Privately owned cabins provide a starter pack that contains 2 rolls per bathroom of toilet paper, 1 roll paper towels, two trash bags (one for each bathroom), a dish brush, small travel soaps and shampoos and conditioners. You might need to buy more supplies while on vacation. It’s important to know that coffee filters, ziplocks and charcoal aren’t provided. In the mountains, you will probably see or hear different animals and insects. It is important to remember that bears should not be fed or approached. You will have to deal with maintenance problems after your departure. Owners do not perform maintenance on the property when you’re in your cabin.

Note that the cabin has a water system from a deep well. The water can be used as usual, or you may prefer to purchase bottled drinking water. The owners recommend four-wheel drives for all of The Great Smoky Mountains. Although the roads leading up to our cabin are paved, heavy rains can cover the creek that we cross to reach the cabin. When visiting our cabin, four-wheel drive is the best way to overcome most of the weather challenges. If the water level in the creek has reached the cabin, you’ll need to be cautious.

Pigeon Forge has many attractions for families. Pigeon Forge has over 40 attractions, with some favorites like Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies. There are also waterparks and WonderWorks. You can enjoy outdoor activities such as rafting the Pigeon River or hiking the Smokies. Try your hand at mini-golf, or go-kart racing. You can go hiking in the Smoky Mountain or stroll through a city park if you are an outdoor enthusiast. You can also try extreme activities like whitewater rafting and zorbing.
