Twin twins became the best graduating student from their US high school, with a 4.10 GPA.

Twin sisters named La’nisha and Ron’nisha Richardson have emerged as Yazoo City High School’s best-graduating students after scoring a 4.10 grade point average.

La’nisha and Ron’nisha Richardson are twins from Mississippi who graduated from Yazoo City High School. They won the award of the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of their school after they scored the highest grade point.

Speaking on their achievement, the twins told BOTWC that this is the moment they have been waiting for as it serves as the official confirmation of all their hard work.

“I actually have a goals list and on the top of that list it says ‘valedictorian of Class of 2020,’ so it was always in my head,” La’nisha said. The twins attributed their success to their mother for always encouraging them to work hard.

“We definitely credit our mom when it comes to making sure we are on top,” Ron’nisha said. “It’s our work and we have to get it done, she makes sure we get it done and if we don’t get it done, it’s gonna be a problem,” La’nisha added.

The twins’ mother, La’ronica Richardson said she is proud of their achievements describing them as her motivation and inspiration to be a better person and a better teacher. While in school, they actively participated in various clubs and organizations, including Beta Club, National Honor Society, Student Council, and Future Business Leaders of America.

The Richardson twins also expressed their gratitude to their teachers and administrators at Yazoo City High School for recognizing their potential and motivating them to pursue their academic dreams.

La’nisha plans to attend Mississippi State University to become a physical therapist, while Ron’nisha plans to join the Air Force Academy with the aim of pursuing a career in the medical field.
