LeBron James RIPS car company for lying on social media after they claimed he was their ‘biggest VIP customer’: ‘I don’t know y’all’

LeBron James has ripped into a California-based car company for using his name to lie on social media after they claimed he was their ‘biggest VIP customer’ online.

On Wednesday, the 39-year-old, four-time NBA champion was subjected to an Instagram post by Effortless Motors dealership in Riverside, as it claimed that the NBA superstar bought a new Bugatti with a snap of the sports car being loaded into the back of a truck.

‘Congratulations to our biggest VIP customer @kingjames for Trusting Effortless Motors’, the company captioned its post.

Two days later, however, ‘Bron caught wind of the post before calling out staff at the dealership.

‘Stop the [cap]!! LIARS!! I don’t know y’all and I don’t even have that car,’ he shared on his Instagram Story to expose the local business. ‘CLOUT CHASERS.’

The NBA star replied to the false ad by describing the local businessmen as ‘CLOUT CHASERS’

Fans of LeBron flooded Effortless Motors’ post with a bunch of hate comments after ‘The King’ denied his association with the company, ripping into the local business for trying to falsely advertise its product.

‘LeBron don’t know you lil’ bro,’ a user said with a loudly crying face emoji.

‘LMAOOOO BRON EXPOSED YALL,’ someone else echoed while another person commented: ‘y’all boyz tryna finesse promo.’

According to TMZ, Daniel Ubario – the owner of Efforts Motors – admitted to just trying to come up with a ‘marketing ploy.’

LeBron fans were quick to rush to the post’s comments to bash the car dealership with hate

He added that he ‘didn’t expect the post to blow up like it did’ and has never worked with LeBron or successfully sold a car to him in the past.

Ubario also revealed that he’s personally reached out to LeBron to apologize over the matter, although it’s unclear if it’s water under the bridge at this time.

Also on Friday, LeBron celebrated the ‘not-guilty’ verdict of NBA hopeful Terrence Shannon Jr. in a rape case brought forward by a woman in Kansas in Sept..

Earlier this week, LeBron paid tribute to the late Jerry West after the 1972 NBA champ’ and former LA Lakers point guard died at age 86 on Wednesday.
