Actor Nick Cannon always wanted to reconcile with his ex-wife, diva Mariah Carey, but that could not happen.
In an interview with E! News last month , the American actor and host said he would like to reunite with Mariah Carey. “I would be stupid not to. We belong together,” Nick Cannon confided.
However, Nick said his chance to be with the Without You singer has passed. “She doesn’t want me anymore. She’s gotten over my crazy antics,” he told People in an interview last week.
Nick Cannon, 43, and Mariah Carey, 55, were together for six years and share 13-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. The couple married in 2008 and divorced in 2014. After their split, the Masked Singer host and the Grammy-winning singer remained on friendly terms and shared custody of their two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren.
Mariah has been in two serious relationships over the past decade. She was engaged to casino billionaire James Packer, but called it off in 2016 just months before their wedding. She then dated choreographer Brian Tanaka for seven years before they split late last year. Mariah is currently single.
Meanwhile, Nick Cannon has had numerous relationships and 10 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren with five women. However, Nick has not been with anyone for long and has no intention of getting married. In an interview with The Shade Room last year, Nick said that Mariah Carey has always been his greatest love and “the most amazing woman I have ever met.”
Nick is now happily father to 12 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. He said that life is always busy with work as well as sharing time to take care of the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. Nick maintains a good relationship with the mother of his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren and connects the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren with each other. “At the end of the day, if you put your 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren first and put your ego aside, you can do anything,” he explained, adding that the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren had a wonderful summer vacation together in the beach city of Malibu.
