Master P’s Children: All About His Sons and Daughters — and How They Honor Their Late Sister

Master P’s kids have been inspired to follow in his entertainment footsteps

Master P built a name for himself as a rapper, actor and entrepreneur but has said being a father is the “most important job” he’s ever had.

The “I’m Bout It, Bout It” rapper married musician and actress Sonya C in 1989, and they share seven 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren together. They welcomed their son Romeo in 1989, son Vercy in 1991, daughter Tytyana in 1992, daughter Inty in 1993, daughter Itali in 1999, son Hercy in 2002 and son Mercy in 2005.

Master P, who was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 Percy Robert Miller Sr., also welcomed daughter Cymphonique in 1996 with another partner. In addition, he and Sonya C raised their nephew Veno Miller after the producer’s brother, Kevin Miller, was 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed in a robbery in the 1990s. Sonya C filed for divorce from Master P in 2013, but the rapper wasn’t declared legally single until over a decade later in May 2022, per TMZ.

During an appearance on OWN Spotlight: They Call Me Dad in September 2021, Master P opened up about his role as a father.

“I have a basketball team,” he said. “We like the Brady Bunch of Hip-Hop, and I just love it because family is like business. You got to take care of the family, you got to take care of your business, you got to take care of your loved ones. So, that’s the most important job that I ever had.”

Sadly, Tytyana died at 25 in May 2022, after a journey with mental illness and substance abuse that was chronicled on the family’s reality show, Master P’s Family Empire.

Here’s everything to know about Master P’s 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren: Romeo, Vercy, Veno, the late Tytyana, Inty, Cymphonique, Itali, Hercy and Mercy.

Nearly all of Master P’s 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren have followed in his footsteps and work in the entertainment industry. In July 2019, Master P released a sequel to his 1998 film I Got the Hookup, titled I Got the Hookup 2, and it starred five of his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren: Romeo, Veno, Cymphonique, Inty and Itali.

Romeo, who went by Lil’ Romeo in the early 2000s, has been an actor and musician since he was a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. He starred in the Nickelodeon show Romeo! with his father, which ran from 2003 to 2006. Romeo has also appeared in several other TV shows and films, including HoneyMadea’s Witness ProtectionEmpire and Christmas Angel.

After signing to his father’s record label, No Limit, he scored a No. 1 R&B/rap hit with his debut single “My Baby” in 2001, per iHeart. He’s since founded a few record labels of his own, including No Limit Forever and Guttar Music Entertainment.

Veno and Cymphonique also acted in hit Nickelodeon shows: Veno appeared on Victorious, while Cymphonique was the lead on How to Rock. Veno is now a Universal Music Group musician and is signed to Ford Models, according to his Instagram bio. Meanwhile, Cymphonique has ventured into music under the moniker Niq and performed at the Lovers & Friends Festival in May 2023.

Vercy goes by Young Vee and Vee-M in his music career, according to his Instagram. He posted a music teaser in September 2024, writing in the caption that he’s currently “working on two projects.” Similarly, Inty has released music under the name Princess Inty and put out her single “Overwhelming and Lonely” in May 2024.

Master P’s reality show, Master P’s Family Empire, aired from 2015 to 2016. It featured five of his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren — Romeo, Cymphonique, Veno, Mercy and Hercy — and gave fans a glimpse at the family’s home life.

Speaking with Forbes in December 2015, Master P said he agreed to the series to show “a different side of Hip-Hop.”

“Through this show, I will be able to teach people about financial literacy and making decisions as I’m continuing to grow my business and teach my kids the same things,” he said. “People will be able to see how hard my kids work, and how they understand the importance of education and being self-made.”

The show also chronicled Tytyana’s struggle with mental health issues and substance abuse.

Mercy and Hercy found their calling outside the entertainment industry as basketball stars. Mercy is studying at the University of Houston, majoring in integrated studies. He plays guard for the school’s basketball team, the Cougars.

Hercy also plays guard but for the Thunderbirds at Southern Utah University, per Sports Illustrated. He previously attended Tennessee State University, Xavier University and the University of Louisville to play basketball.

Romeo has two 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren

Romeo shares two daughters with his fiancée, Drew Sangster. The pair welcomed their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥, River Rose, in February 2022. Romeo shared the news on Instagram alongside a video of him and Sangster with pink balloons.

“It’s been hard to hold this in, but it was important for us to make sure our 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 girl got here safe and healthy before making any announcements to the world during this sacred journey,” he captioned it. “The best Valentines ever. Been waiting for this moment my entire life. Thank you @drewsangster. I’m a #GirlDad babbbbbyyy.”

Romeo and Sangster celebrated the arrival of their second daughter, Winter Snoh, in March 2023. The actor shared photos of the new𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 on Instagram and wrote, “My tribe is growing. I introduce to you my fearless, intuitive, and ingenious daughter; WINTER SNOH MILLER!”

He added, “My heart is so full knowing that my girls will have each other as they grow. I’m a papa of 2! I’ve accomplished a lot of things in my life, but becoming a father is by far the best and most fulfilling.”

In November 2023, Romeo revealed that River had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

Despite being a successful rapper, producer and actor, Master P didn’t necessarily want his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to follow in his footsteps.

Speaking with the Wall Street Journal in July 2019, he opened up about encouraging his kids to get an education.

“You know what’s different about my family with me as a parent, I’m not pushing my kids to be entertainers. I’m pushing them to go to college,” Master P said. “Now, if you’re good at entertainment, we’re gonna help you explore that, but it’s education first in my household … If you’re an entertainer, then you need something to fall back on.”

Tytyana died at 25 from an accidental fentanyl overdose on May 27, 2022.

Master P first shared the news of his daughter’s death in an emotional statement on Instagram. “Our family is dealing with an overwhelming grief for the loss of my daughter Tytyana,” he wrote. “We respectfully request some privacy so that our family can grieve. We appreciate all of the prayers love and support.”

Master P continued, “Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAngel.”

Romeo also paid tribute to his sister in a since-deleted Instagram post, writing in part, “We appreciate all of the prayers, love, and support, and although this is sad times, I’m forever grateful for the memories I did have with my amazing sister.”

During an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings in July 2022, Master P revealed that Tytyana had just left rehab when she died and “was on the right track.” She had expressed to her father that she wanted to help others and “knew that tomorrow she could do something better.”

Tytyana was a mom to her daughter Skye. In a posthumous 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day tribute to his sister in 2022, Mercy wrote that his niece would “be good forever” with the support of the family.

Master P has made it a point to instill a good work ethic in his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. During an interview with Forbes in December 2015, he opened up about how his impoverished upbringing inspired him to “break the negative cycle and pass that on to my kids.”

“They need to understand economics, they need to understand integrity, and they need to understand being humble,” he explained. “They need to understand their character is really all they can take with them — if you give your word, you have to keep it.”

Master P also told the outlet that he’s taught his sons and daughters to value their self-worth and passion over money.

“I teach my kids that you’ve got to have something else that makes you hungry for success, because you don’t have to overcome poverty,” he said. “You must do something that you love, that is true to you, and you know you’re not compromising what you’re worth.”

All of the Miller 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren share a bond. In April 2022, several of the siblings spent Easter together, including Romeo and Vercy. The Millers also celebrated Mercy’s high school graduation together in June 2024.

The brothers and sisters often share sweet tributes to one another on social media. In August 2024, Itali celebrated Romeo’s 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day by posting a carousel of photos with the actor.

“Happy Birthday Rome!!God knew what he was doing when he made you our big brother,” she wrote in the caption. “You being the first of seven wasn’t luck, but a calculated blessing [Romans 1:7]. You’re the true definition of a leader, a protector, and a life time best friend.”

Elon Musk Has Made Many People Rich. Not His Ex-Wives

In a striking exposé, Forbes reveals the stark financial reality faced by Elon Musk’s first wife, Justine Wilson, amidst his monumental rise to wealth. While Musk has amassed a staggering $364 billion, Justine is left with a mere $15 million. The shocking contrast serves as a painful reminder of their tumultuous past, which includes the tragic loss of their first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 and the 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 of five more.
