Jenner, whose hairstylist unexpectedly died in February, stepped out to support Chalamet, who is nominated for Best Actor
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner are celebrating the last of awards season in style.
The couple, who’ve been linked since April 2023, have been making the rounds at many shows, including the Golden Globes, the BAFTAs and the Berlin Film Festival. And on March 2, they showed out in style for the Academy Awards, where Chalamet is nominated for Best Actor for A Complete Unknown.
Jenner, 27, wore a skin-baring Miu Miu gown featuring an abs-forward cutout framed with straps that attached her plunging bra top and floor-length skirt. The entire design was decked out in beaded details which complemented her dazzling Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.
Her appearance comes amid the sudden death of her hairstylist and close friend Jesus Guerrero. Jenner’s makeup artist Ariel Tejada shared on Instagram that Jenner and her glam team had a “hard” time getting ready ahead of the Oscars.
“Today was really hard without you, but I know how excited you were for Ky to attend the Oscars. I felt your energy guiding us today. I hope we did you proud🤍 we love you forever” Tejada shared in tribute to Guerrero, alongside an image of Jenner in her ensemble.
Chalamet, 29, wore a custom Givenchy butter yellow suit that consisted of a collared button-up shirt, double-breasted blazer and trousers splashed in a bright pastel hue. Black pointed-toe shoes completed the look.
His stylist Taylor McNeill, didn’t confirm whether or not Chalamet’s concluding awards season look was a tribute to Bob Dylan, whom the actor has been referencing plenty as a nod to his film A Complete Unknown, for which he’s nominated Best Actor. However, considering Chalamet’s recent sartorial track record, we wouldn’t be surprised if the legendary musician was referenced in the bold look.
Although Jenner skipped the carpet, the two packed on the PDA inside. Photos of the pair inside the Dolby Theatre showed them getting cozy and kissing, as well as greeting other attendees and taking selfies. In a video shared by The Hollywood Reporter, they can be seen holding hands.
Chalamet is nominated alongside Adrien Brody (The Brutalist), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), Ralph Fiennes (Conclave) and Sebastian Stan (The Apprentice).
This is his second Academy Award appearance following his Best Actor nomination for Call Me By Your Name in 2018, making Chalamet, 29, the youngest two-time Best Actor nominee since James Dean. Compared to his all-white suit when he first walked the carpet at 22, Chalamet took his outfit in a different direction this year.
