Tiger Woods skips TGL Finals opener after golf legend and Vanessa Trump go public with their relationship

Tiger Woods was nowhere to be seen as the finals of his new TGL venture kicked off, a day after the golf legend and Vanessa Trump went public with their relationship.

Ten days after DailyMail.com exclusively broke the news that the golf icon was dating Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, the couple posted two pictures on social media and declared: ‘Love is in the air’

Just over 24 hours later, Atlanta Drive GC beat New York Golf Club in the first leg of the TGL Finals – the revolutionary golf league founded by Woods and Rory McIlroy.

In the first of up to three matches, Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel and Justin Thomas secured a 6-5 win over Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler and Cameron Young in Florida.

Among the first people to offer their congratulations on his new romance, meanwhile, was Ivanka Trump, formerly Vanessa’s sister-in-law.

Woods, 49, and Vanessa, 47, who both live in Florida, have been together since Thanksgiving, DailyMail.com confirmed with four sources.
