Kevin Durant Hints ‘Longevity’ And Cooking Dudes With LeBron James And Dwyane Wade Is Not Part Of His Legacy- “Chill Bro, That’s Not Apart Of The Legacy”

Kevin Durant recently shared a nostalgic clip on Twitter showcasing his time with the USA National Team. In the clip, he can be seen balling out with the likes of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade. It was wholesome and almost felt like praise for the team and his teammates from the Slim Reaper. However, a comment he left on the same tweet says otherwise. Responding to a fan, KD made it clear that hooping with legends and longevity in the game is not something he wants to be a part of his legacy.

The two-time NBA Champion has gained quite a reputation for himself on social media, especially Twitter. He is known for posting outrageous things and for interacting with his followers on a regular basis. More often than not, this interaction will be in the form of a questionable reply, and his most recent one is no exception.

Kevin Durant claims longevity and hooping with LeBron James is not a part of his legacy

Kevin Durant made an interesting claim with his latest set of tweets. Considered by many to be one of the greatest players in the NBA, KD is known for many things. With his shooting and finishing, Durant’s game is greatly respected. But, recently a fan has thrown another quality into the mix.

In a recent Twitter thread, one fan complimented the Slim Reaper’s ‘longevity’. However, it would seem as though Durant doesn’t really value it that much. In addition to claiming he does not consider playing with LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Dwyane Wade that big of a deal, KD claims his longevity in the game is not something he wants to be associated with his legacy.

It would seem that KD values winning over being in the league for a long time. An interesting take, but one that might be taking a sly shot at The King.

Durant really knows how to take a compliment and turn it on its heels. Turning a lovely tweet about the time he played with a legend like Kobe Bryant into something sour.

KD’s original tweet showed him sniping down the Argentinian national team with Kobe Bryant

Before going on a rant about not wanting longevity or playing with LeBron and D-Wade on his resume, Kevin Durant’s tweet was quite wholesome. The Phoenix Suns star shared a memory of the time he and Kobe Bryant torched the Argentinian national team with their incredible shooting. A great shoutout to the Black Mamba.

Thanks to his reply, the attention has been taken away from the homage he paid to Kobe and has now shifted to questions surrounding his legacy. And moreover, the shade he may have thrown the way of LeBron James.
