Welcome to Log Cabin in the middle of the forest is where dreams are made, and it serves as the material for those dreams. After spending many years bringing their family to Colorado for ski vacations twice a week, the owners of the lovely log cabin eventually realized that they desired to make Colorado their permanent residence.

The owners searched all across the state of Colorado until they came upon a parcel of land in Pitkin County that was forty acres in size. After that, they decided to purchase the land.

The Living Room

Within the limits of the log cabin’s interior, which features the traditional layout of an open floor plan, the living area, dining room, and kitchen all connect in a way that is seamless and easy to navigate.

The Kitchen of the Log Cabin

When you turn around so that you are facing the kitchen, you will notice that the stairs are made out of half logs and lead not just to the upper floor but also to the lower level. This is because the stairs lead to both the upper floor and the lower level.

Through these stairs, one can reach either of the floors. If having an open floor plan is essential to you, then the fact that the kitchen and dining room are located toward the back of the log cabin is not going to stop you from having that choice available to you.

This makes it seem as though the kitchen, the dining room, and the rest of the log cabin are in different parts of the log cabin.

There is a dining table on the left side of the room that is a fair size, and there is also a table in the middle of the kitchen that functions both as a dining nook and as a workstation for the island.

Both of these tables can accommodate several people. These two tables are positioned in the same room as one another.

Along one wall of the kitchen is a big burner designed exclusively for cooks, and along the wall on the opposite side of the kitchen is a sizable sink fashioned in the manner of a farmhouse sink.

Both of these features are situated along the same wall. The log cabinetry in this room, which is both red and made of wood, is a pleasure to behold because of the stunning combination of the two materials.

The Dining Table of the Log Cabin

The dining area is discretely tucked away behind the living space, and it features a table of generous proportions that is surrounded by seating.

Because it is uncomplicated and has a cozy atmosphere, it is an excellent location for sharing meals with the family or even for playing board games with the younger members of the group.

On the other hand, on account of the high level of elegance it possesses, it would be an excellent option for the centerpiece of a formal dining room.

The Outside of the Log Cabin

A cozy dining nook can be found just beyond the Dining Table, and it has enough seats for the whole family. The area is laid out with a circular table in the middle of the space, with chairs set in a ring around it.

Even though there are other options for dining settings that are more suitable for formal occasions, we have found that this design works incredibly well in log cabins.
