LeBron James will surprise more than one with his year 21 fitness level
As we all start year 21 of a legendary players NBA career, the ones who fear this might be LeBron James’ Last Dance might have another thing coming. Just last Thursday, there is a video that quickly got viral of LeBron reacting to being officially the oldest active NBA player this season. But Lakers‘ coach Darvin Ham took this to a whole new level by giving the fans some words of encouragement. According to what he’s seen from the veteran star, LeBron James is probably in the best shape he’s ever been since he started playing in the league. In fact, Ham compared this LeBron to the one from his third and fourth year. You know, when he dunked on absolutely everybody while playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Ham offered some statements about the upcoming season, the pre-season games that are about to start. But more importantly, he made an in depth analysis on how the staff will contront this new season with LeBron James as their leader on the court. This is what Darvin Ham had to say right after practice: “The beautiful thing about the way we move forward with that is: 1. He’s in phenomenal shape. 2. He’s probably got more years and experience than, outside of AD, our entire team combined in terms of games played and minutes played, and he takes phenomenal care of himself. He is 100% healthy. He looks like 3rd or 4th year LeBron.”
Can LeBron hold until his son Bronny plays in the NBA?
During the Lakers’ media day, LeBron James took some time to say he will dedicate this year 21 to his son Bronny. Earlier this year, the oldest of his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren suffered a cardiac arrest from a congenital heart condition. He hasn’t returned to full basketball activities yet but doctors remain optimistic he will make a full recovery and eventually continue playing. Whether or not he will make it to the NBA remains to be seen. First, we need to see how he returns from that health scare and then make an assessment. LeBron James obviously would love for his son to make it to the league but everything is very much in the air right now.
