When Willow Smith saw the documentary, Jada Pinkett Smith revealed that her daughter immediately rushed to her and proclaimed that she wanted to become an advocate for the cause. As per the memoir, Smith revealed that she contacted Angelina Jolie over the matter to help her daughter in getting in touch with the right people.
“[Willow said] Mom, you won’t believe what’s happening. Did you know girls my age are being sold for 𝓈ℯ𝓍 in our own country? One of my first calls was to Angelina Jolie, then in the trenches on behalf of refugees around the world”.
The talk show host revealed that she had always been an admirer of Angelina Jolie and revealed how the Eternals actress helped them in their time of need.
“I had long admired Angelina’s commitment as an activist. She generously put me in touch with a lawyer named Adam Waldman, who soon introduced me to survivors, whom I met when I visited safe houses around the country,”

Separating from Will Smith in 2016 and allegedly cheating on the actor Jada Smith has always been a controversial actor that the world has often talked about for years. In an interview with People, the actress shifted some of the blame to her parents for the way she lives her life now.
“I had young parents and I had parents that were addicted to drugs and you know there is something to be said when you aren’t the priority of your parents. For them to be your mirror, as a young 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. That your parents don’t have to be perfect, just always remind you that you are loveable and you’re worthy and it starts with being a priority.”
