Young African lady bags Masters in Biomedical Sciences, graduates UK university with outstanding grade

A brilliant African lady named Betty Idemudia has bagged a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with an outstanding achievement award at the University of Derby, England in the United Kingdom.

Betty Idemudia obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at Ambrose Alli University, Edo Nigeria before she proceeded to the United Kingdom for her postgraduate studies.

Celebrating her achievement on Linkedin, Betty said she is excited about her achievement. She earned her master’s degree in Biomedical Health Sciences with good grades. She said the year she spent in the university was filled with highs and lows.

”From tears to laughter, moments of giving up, and picking myself back up, the move to a new school in a different country with a unique educational system posed unexpected challenges,” she said.

Betty said starting from her first oncology assessment to completing her project dissertation, was a fascinating journey for her. She stated that she learned, unlearned, and continued learning along the way with Hard work and unwavering dedication as her companion.

She thanked the University of Derby for being an accommodating space for international students and the head of her department for ensuring she had the best resources and support.

Betty also thanked her supervisor crediting them for guiding and encouraging her through the entire process of lab work and thesis writing.

She expressed her gratitude to her spouse, family, and friends stating that they grounded her, and ensuring that she never lost sight of who she was and what she was capable of achieving.

Betty said she is moving forward with excitement to apply every s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 she acquired and the knowledge gained in propelling her career in research and education.
