Patrick Mahomes gets the best news about his brother Jackson and hopes to get back to normalcy

Three felony charges have been dropped

judge dropped three felony charges against Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, at the prosecution’s request.

Initially facing three counts of aggravated 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual battery and a misdemeanor battery charge from a February incident at a Kansas City restaurant, Mahomes now only faces the misdemeanor battery charge. The charges stemmed from allegations that he shoved a male waiter and forcibly kissed the female restaurant owner.

Alleged victim didn’t testify

The alleged 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual battery victim declined to testify, asserting her encounter with Mahomes was consensual and that she didn’t say the truth to the police.

Surveillance footage, contradicting her claims, showed Mahomes grabbing and extensively kissing the woman. The state proceeded with charges despite the victim’s refusal to cooperate, emphasizing the existence of the footage.

The remaining misdemeanor charge relates to Mahomes‘ alleged aggression toward the waiter. The restaurant involved, Aspens Restaurant and Lounge, has since closed, with the owner expressing regret over police involvement and reporting damage to outdoor pipes after the incident.

“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere,” Vaughn told the Kansas City Star.

“And I’m telling him, pushing him off saying, ‘What are you doing?’ And then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
