After visiting Australia, New York City, and Cannes Film Festival as part of her “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” publicity tour, the actress is currently attending the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Monaco at Circuit de Monaco. Wearing a pair of Margiela penny loafers that she has been seen in previously, she looked casual but stylish while attending the event.

She’s made her fair share of outrageous fashion decisions in addition to method dressing. While in London, she emphasized the gritty, hardcore elements of her persona by donning a pair of black platform stilettos with studs.

She attracted attention while visiting New York City with her blazing all-red ensemble, which included a pair of Louboutins. She recently returned to Louboutin sporting an all-black ensemble and a pair of black pumps.

Taylor-Joy chose an ombre leather jacket and shoes she’s worn previously, penny loafers in the Maison Margiela Tabi design, for her trip to Monaco. While in New York City in April, she donned the look for her 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day weekend.

The patent leather shoes were initially introduced for the brand’s Autumn 2020 lineup. They have the recognizable split toe that was modeled after the old Japanese “tabi” style socks. In 1988, Margiela debuted her line of Tabi shoes.

Since then, the form has been used in heels, ballet flats, loafers, and other footwear. Christian Louboutin and Maison Margiela worked together earlier this year on six different styles, which included a Tabi pump and a Tabi stiletto in the d’Orsay style. Stars including Miley Cyrus, Zendaya, and Greta Gerwig have all been spotted sporting the shoes.
