It will pray on your heart, it will pray on your mind.” Netflix has revealed the first official trailer for a horror thriller titled The Deliverance, from director Lee Daniels. It’s arriving streaming on Netflix in August, along with a two week theatrical run as well. A family living in a home in Indiana discover strange, demonic occurrences that convince them and the community that the house is a portal to hell. Single mother Ebony must face down her demons in order to save her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s souls… Inspired by a true story of possession, Lee Daniels’ The Deliverance horror stars Andra DayGlenn CloseAunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Mo’Nique. It’s described by Netflix as “a genre-defying take on darkness, possession, and finding a higher power.” Also with Anthony B. Very effective trailer to grab your attention.
