Ulajh is an upcoming spy-thriller film that features Janhvi Kapoor in lead role and has stars like Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang and Adil Hussain. Ulajh is produced by Junglee Pictures which brought to us films like Raazi, Badhai Do and Talvar. The direction and writing is handled by National Award winner Sudhanshu Sarai.
The film focuses on an IFS officer who has to live upto a patriotic legacy amidst a personal conspiracy away from India. Taunted for nepotism, India’s youngest Deputy High Commissioner Suhana in the film has many secrets to unfold and several enemies to fight. The trailer has been exclusively released by Junglee Pictures and it will hit the silver screens on 2 August.
Ulajh was initially meant to release on 5 July but to avoid clashes from the big film Kalki 2898 AD and later Akshay starrer Sarfira it’s date was shifted to 2 August. We are yet to see how well this strategic move impacts the film’s collection. The Janhvi Kapoor starrer film would also have to pass the test of fans’ and critics’ review as well. The thrilling appeal of the film seems promising but only time can tell how well it fares on the success meter!
