“Anyone requesting a name change must undergo a background check by the court clerk, and due to an administrative error, Shiloh’s hearing was postponed to another day,” Levine told People.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie separated in 2016 and are currently finalizing their divorce after eight years. They are also parents to six 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Knox, 15, and Vivienne, 15.

In June 2024, a source close to Pitt told People that the actor “knows and is sad that Shiloh is dropping his last name.” The insider added: “The reminder that he has lost his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren is obviously not easy for Brad. He loves his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren and misses them very much. It’s sad.”

Earlier this month, Shiloh told the Los Angeles Times that she wanted to change her last name from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.
