Kobe Bryant fans in tears after they relive Manny Pacquiao’s emotional farewell to the Lakers legend

Everyone is still mourning the loss of Kobe Bryant, one of the most beloved NBA players of all time. The Los Angeles Lakers legend was known to making friends and interestingly enough, one of them was another legend in boxer Manny Pacquiao.

That friendship started back in 2011, when ‘Black Mamba’ visited him during his preparation prior to facing Juan Manuel Marquez. It was at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles and from that moment on they became close after talking and exchanging insights on conditioning.

That moment was captured by the Top Rank social media account, and it was shared recently for the public to enjoy. That was exactly what happened, but many fans remembered that unique bondas Kobe is no longer alive to continue it.

The post that created tears on everyone

The social media accounts from Top Rank Boxing captioned the video “When Kobe attended Manny Pacquiao’s sparring session,” giving the fans asneak peak of what it felt to be there during the training of the boxer and the attention paid by Kobe Bryant.

The former boxing coach and legend of his own, Freddie Roach recalled the meeting as if it was yesterday. “He (Pacquiao) went crazy when Kobe came in that day. That was unbelievable. It was the best day of his life, I think,” the coach said.

“Pacquiao received tips from Mamba on basketball techniques… Manny asked him about basketball and shooting and how to become a better player,”Roach revealedin an interview with PhilBoxing.
