A source recently told E! news: ‘It’s a tradition for them to meet before the wedding and Priyanka’s family insisted on hosting the Jonas family in their country.

‘Priyanka wants everything to be traditional to respect her family’s values, and definitely an Indian wedding.

‘All of the plans are moving quickly and Priyanka and Nick do not want to have a long engagement.’

Priyanka is currently in Mumbai to film the movie The Sky Is Pink, based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who died in 2015 at the age of 18.

The actress has her hands full as well as planning a wedding and acting in the film, she is also serving as co-producer on the project.

It came after she attended his cousin Rachel Tamburelli’s wedding in June that was followed by a trip to India where Nick met Priyanka’s mother Madhu and also brother Siddharth.

‘We’re getting to know each other and I think it was a great experience for him, Priyanka told People last month. ‘I think he really enjoyed it. It was really beautiful. He had a great time.’

Another source claimed to People: ‘Nick has been obsessed with Priyanka since they started dating.’
