Actress Marian Rivera says she has encountered terrifying situations while filming in the past.
In a recent interview, Marian Rivera recalled her experience while filming “ Dyesebel ”. She revealed that she almost drowned while diving underwater. At that moment, she thought her life would end there.
“ The most beautiful woman in the Philippines ” recalled: “I was underwater day and night to film Dyesebel. Although the water was very cold, I did not complain because we had to finish the scene. They would put me in the water and only have one cameraman with me. The cameraman would swim faster to record the scene. I was alone at that time and did not realize that the waves were about to come.”
Marian said she was swept away by the waves twice. Although she was a good swimmer, she could not move because of the weight of the fairy costume. “I could not take off my costume, I was only wearing underwear. That’s why the waves swept me away ,” the mother of two added.
This is a work that Marian and Dingdong collaborated on. At that time, she didn’t like him and wasn’t interested in a relationship. Yet Dingdong rushed out to save her when she thought she was about to drown.
Marian Rivera said: “Fearful and worried, he dove into the water to save me but there were other divers there to help. They lifted me out of the water like a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 and put me on the boat. He hugged me and asked if I was okay. I was emotional and cried. I thought I was going to die.” Because she had drunk too much seawater, Marian had difficulty breathing. She said: “I kept saying: I’m done, I’m going to die.”
Dingdong was angry and asked questions about the incident Marian had with the film crew. Marian confessed: “That was the moment I finally saw how good he was. He cared about me so much.”
After the incident, Marian opened her heart to Dingdong and accepted his love. They had a happy ending to their sweet love story. Currently, Marian and Dingdong’s family is very warm with 2 more young members, Zia and Ziggy.
