Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James revealed during the team’s Media Day that his wife, Savannah James recently got the chance to play NBA 2K25. The 39-year-old said that Savannah went into practice mode to play as her son, Bronny.

What did LeBron James have to say about his wife playing NB 2K25?

The four-time National Basketball Association (NBA) champion had the chance to film the occasion but has yet to share it with the world. People are excited about the father-son duo in the upcoming season.

Both LeBron and Bronny were present for the team’s Media Day and the senior James shared the story. The story of how his son played Basketball in Akron, Ohio when he was five years old.

Bronny grabbed a rebound and went coast-to-coast ending with a made basket. He looked at her wife and told her that their son was someone special. Come June this year, their son Bronny was drafted by the same team his dad plays in.

James then shared that he got the chance to record while his wife was playing NBA 2K25 as Bronny.

“I have a video on my phone of Savannah playing NBA 2K. Bronny hasn’t seen it. She does not play video games, but she went in practice mode and played with her son. On practice mode, I forgot to post it–I was going to post it for the world, but I have not yet,” James said.

“She was playing with Bronny and I said, ‘Okay, this is what it takes for you to get on a video game.’ It was just super cool,” James added.

I haven’t thought about what the future holds: LeBron James

As LeBron James entered his 22nd NBA season, there were questions about the star’s future in the sport. The biggest question of them all was whether the next season would be his last.

But, according to James, he looks forward to playing with his son and hasn’t given a thought about hanging his boots. “I haven’t thought about what the future holds, just kind of living in the moment. Especially with Bronny being here, I don’t want to take this moment for granted. This is a moment I’ll enjoy maybe a little bit more,” James concluded.

Last but not least, LeBron James tied with Vince Carter for the most number of seasons in the league.
