Kim Kardashian is turning to technology to find a companion. The reality TV star has her own Tesla robot.

SKIMS clothing brand founder Kim Kardashian posted on X about her interactions with her brand new “personal assistant” robot Optimus, which was introduced by billionaire Elon Musk at a Tesla presentation last month.

Kim Kardashian seems to be quite fond of her robotic companion and has been testing out some of the robot’s features in a new video.

At the beginning of the clip, Kim greets her new robot with a wave and receives a quick hello from the robot. The mother of four then asks if the robot can make a heart for her… and expresses surprise when the robot reaches out to do so.

Kim Kardashian continued asking the robot some basic questions while the robot demonstrated its range of motion including running, jumping, and other complex movements.

The former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also documented her interactions with the Tesla robot… posting some of the robot’s other tricks on Instagram.

Kim isn’t the first celebrity to get up close and personal with one of Tesla’s robots. During the tech company’s “We, Robot” event in October 2024, rapper 2 Chainz had a private conversation with one of the futuristic machines (though it was later revealed that a Tesla employee controlled the robot remotely). Elon Musk has previously said that the Optimus robot will cost between $20,000 and $30,000.

Kim Kardashian is a known Tesla fan, owning an electric pickup truck called the Cybertruck, although the vehicle got her into a bit of trouble last week.

t’s unclear, however, whether Kim Kardashian spent tens of thousands of dollars on the robot or whether Elon Musk sent her one to test. Either way, it’s clear that Kim loves her new robot friend.

In early 2024, Kim Kardashian was rumored to be dating her boyfriend – football player Odell Beckham Jr. The 43-year-old beauty and the 31-year-old player were photographed walking next to each other at the Wynn Hotel after attending the 2024 Super Bowl party.
