A Japanese mixed martial arts star welcomed Shohei Ohtani to UFC 310

Japanese fighter Kai Asakura wants to fight in front of Dodgers’ World Series winner.

Next Saturday, December 7, the UFC will have a great event at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and one of the protagonists will have his first fight on American soil.

Japanese fighter Kai Asakura will be fighting for the flyweight title as the main event at UFC 310 and has declared that he wants to see Shohei Ohtani in the front row!

Of course, no one is forbidden to dream and Asakura can wish for the presence of whoever he wants, but so far no one knows much about Ohtani’s personal tastes and whether he enjoys the bloody spectacle of MMA, so his presence in the octagon the following Saturday and whether he received the message from his countryman, remain a mystery.

He doesn’t know Ohtani, but he wants to see him there

Asakura, who will face Brazilian Alexandre Pantoja, made this statement in an interview with TMZ Sports: “I never met Ohtani, but I would love for him to come and see my fight (…) They will realize that I have an explosive fighting style and I think they will see something they have never seen before. I want them to be my fans after this fight and also in the future,” concluded an enthusiastic Asakura, who is confident of defeating the ‘Cannibal’ in a fight that looks evenly matched, although he considers that it is not his most difficult opponent.
