Kim Kardashian showed up to the Skims NYC opening party on Thursday night, surprising fans by arriving on a mobility scooter with an injured foot (though naturally she kept her heels on most of the time).

So…like…what happened? Kim revealed on Instagram earlier this week that she broke her foot but didn’t explain how, simply writing, “FML broken foot for the holidays.”

Kim’s outing comes amid a source telling Us Weekly that she “has started dating someone new,” though this mystery man isn’t a household name.

“She’s said the next person she dates will be someone who isn’t famous,” the source explained, adding, “Kim became way more involved in her company and put a ton of effort into her recent launches. She [became] empowered by staying single for so long.”

Meanwhile, Page Six reports that Kim’s new guy is a real estate investor who “isn’t in the public eye,” that they aren’t in “a committed relationship” just yet, and that she “met the entrepreneur through mutual friends.”

News of their not-committed-just-yet relationship comes eight months after Kim and Odell Beckham Jr. split in April, though Page Six’s source says this real estate investor is “not the first person she’s dated since her split from Odell.”

As a reminder, Entertainment Tonight reported at the time of their breakup, “Kim and Odell have always been open and honest about their future, whether that be together or separate. They had a good thing and there aren’t any hard feelings on either side. They started as friends and still are. They will continue to be respectful of each other’s spaces, careers, families, and friends.”
