This couple came together from the first collaboration, loved by the audience for more than a decade.

In early 2024, the most powerful couple on Philippine screens, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, had a surprising reunion. The movie called Rewind excited the audience when the couple had the opportunity to play husband and wife again on screen. In it, Marian played the role of wife Mary, recalling the ups and downs of her life with her husband John – the character played by Dingdong.

Rewind was warmly received by the audience, grossing 600 million pesos  and was one of the highest-grossing films of the year. This was also a rare occasion for Marian Rivera to act in a film with her husband after getting married and limiting her showbiz activities to spend time with her family.

Before that, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes had acted together in 13 films, including supporting or cameo roles. In the television industry, the two began working together and falling in love with each other from Wild Dance , then moved to Mermaid Love, Dangerous Love, Eternal Love, My Lover and Encantadia .

In the film industry, the two had the opportunity to participate in the projects One True Love , With You, You Are Everything, Noy, Dance of the Steelbars, Tween Academy: Class of 2012, Kubot: Aswang Chronicles 2, Fantastica and now Rewind .

Dingdong Dantes said he “fell in love” with Marian Rivera in his first project. However, the “most beautiful woman in the Philippines” did not have a good impression of her co-star at that time, especially his bushy beard. However, she was later “touched” by his sincere and delicate personality.

In 2024, the two got married and began their beautiful love story, supported by the public. Currently, the two have been together for more than a decade. At the end of last year, the couple celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary with a grand new wedding like a fairy tale. Currently, Dingdong is still active in showbiz, somewhat more than his wife.
