Khloé Kardashian is sharing new details about why she and her kids had to miss out on their family’s Christmas Eve celebrations.
On Thursday, Dec. 26, the Good American co-founder, 40, explained that her 2-year-old son Tatum and 6-year-old daughter True had both been sick during the last week, with True having a “really scary” high fever over the holiday. The mom of two took to her Instagram Stories to wish her followers a Merry Christmas and update her fans, sharing that this holiday “was a great one for sure, but different.”
“I didn’t get to make it to the Christmas Eve party, which was a bummer,” she added. “I missed being with my family.”

Kardashian continued to explain that “Tatum was super sick the weekend before,” but fortunately, “He was great for Christmas Eve and all that.” True, on the other hand, was too sick to enjoy the family’s festivities.
“True has had a 105 fever,” the mom of two said. “It was really scary. It was horrible. Now she’s just starting to feel better.”
The 6-year-old still joined her family at matriarch Kris Jenner’s house, although, “She was sleeping in another room while I was cooking breakfast,” Kardashian shared. Despite being sick, True still wanted to attend, “because we still wanted to be around the Christmas spirit.”
Now that True is starting to feel better, Kardashian is making up for her Christmas Day. “We’re doing Santa toys today because she just wasn’t in the mood yesterday,” she shared.
“Poor thing, that’s when you know your kid is sick, when Santa toys don’t even excite them,” she added.
The concerned mom continued, “I’m so happy she’s feeling better. I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, because I wasn’t really able to do so yesterday.”
