Chelsea are set to meet with Inter Milan representatives following the UEFA Champions League final this weekend. The Blues are set to discuss Romelu Lukaku’s future after his season-long loan spell expires at the San Siro this summer, whilst goalkeeper Andre Onana could also be discussed.

Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy are facing uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge with new manager Mauricio Pochettino wanting to sign a new goalkeeper, football.london understands. The Argentine is also looking to sign a new striker and central midfielder – which may hint that Lukaku could be sold this summer.

Inter Milan Chief Executive Officer Giuseppe Marotta has revealed last month that there are no plans to sell Onana. Recent reports have stated that the Blues have already begun conversations with Inter for the 27-year-old with a fee of €40million (£35million) being mooted.

Marotta is in no doubt where the shot-stopper will be playing his football next season. “Onana leaving for €40million (£35million)? I’d rule this out, honestly,” he said.

“We think he will stay. We have not received any offers and Onana is happy in Milano, he wants to stay here – we do not plan to sell him.”

According to the Daily Telegraph, Chelsea have scheduled a meeting with Inter and will discuss Lukaku and Onana following the Champions League final. “At the moment Inter Milan are demanding €60million (£52million) for Andre Onana,” said Matt Law.

“Chelsea have got a meeting with Inter Milan after the Champions League final, predominately regarding Lukaku. But Onana will be talked about in that.”

There is the possibility that Chelsea may look to include players they no longer wish to keep at the club in a deal to sign Onana – but that will depend on if Inter want any of the Blues’ players. The Cameroon international being valued at £52million by Inter is higher than reports have suggested but negotiations between the two clubs are set to take place this month.
