Popular YouTuber Alysha Burney died while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, one day before her 25th đđ˘đŤđđĄday.
She died after suffering an asthma attack while she was asleep, according to her brother, Charles Burney.
Following online speculation about how she died, he told FOX4 that she did ânot do drugsâ and was a âself-loving and happy individual who cherished her life and was looking forward to the upcoming yearâs plans.â
âShe was in Mexico to celebrate her đđ˘đŤđđĄday. She was a very classy young woman,â he said. âThereâs a spread of misinformation online, stating different things based on speculation. These sources lack credibility and should not be believed. My sister did not engage in environments that would lead to such situations.â
Charles also praised his sister for never being âselfish with her knowledgeâ and living life as a âvery open book.â
âAlysha was very goal-oriented, creative, and passionate about giving back. She graduated with a Bachelorâs of Science in Digital Media Production and was working towards her graduate degree,â he noted.

Charles also shared that Alyshaâs âlifelong goal was to be a writer and a directorâ and return to Kansas City to âopen a production studioâ and help other young creatives.
Her brother first confirmed the tragic news via Instagram on Monday.
âI come with great sadness that my little sister Alysha Burney has passed. PLEASE allow our family time to grieve during this time. It is extremely difficult seeing all of the false narratives trying to defame her legacy and we are ready to take legal action for those continuing to spread false information regarding her passing,â he wrote on Instagram.
After acknowledging that âso many peopleâ cared so deeply for his younger sister, Charles, asked respectfully for her fans to âstop harassingâ his family, at this time.
â[We] will share more information soon but just give us some time,â he concluded. âHer legacy will still live on FOREVER!!â
Burneym, who had more than 2 million TikTok Followers and 1 million subscribers on YouTube, was best known for her Bad Girls Club parody series.
A number of the late content creatorâs friends shared heartfelt tributes in the wake of her death, including her close pal Jay Lanai.
In her post, she wrote that Alysha was the âmost genuine, sweet, beautiful and humble humanâ she had âever come across.â
âIâm so happy I was able to embrace you & tell you how much I loved and missed you, seeing you over Christmas break,â she captioned a photo of them on Instagram, obtained by Hollywood Life. âLife is unexpected. Rest beautifully Alysha, youâll be missed so much.â

Additionally, Lanai shared a black and white photo with Burney that showed them standing cheek to cheek and smiling.
Alysha was also remembered by her pal, Niko, who expressed her heartbreak in an emotional Instagram post.
âI should never have to write a post like this. I still donât have the words,â he began. âIt hurts me to not be able to talk to you, and I just want your advice! Youâre my family, and your family made me feel like family. Youâre my best friend on this planet, and Iâll always remember and defend your name.â
He also thanked Alysha for the countless memories they shared, always being there for him during his toughest times and loving him âunconditionally.â
âI know youâd always want me and everyone to be happy and continue grinding. Youâre with God now, and I know youâre making him laugh,â Niko concluded.
Another friend, who goes by the name J Money on Instagram, shared that he was at a loss for words over her death as he slammed people spreading âfalse narrativesâ about how she died.

âJust because a person has a following doesnât mean their entire being is a stunt for the internet,â she wrote. âWe have to start treating people with more respect. No family should have to experience what her family has just endured over the last week with harassing comments, posts, & conspiracy theories.â
Jay Nedaj admitted the loss still doesnât âfeel realâ as he revealed they spoke everyday.
âI will never be the same without you here. Youâve touched & inspired so many people including me. You were such a talent. A force to be reckoned with. My đđđđŚ. You were always so encouraging,â he wrote on Instagram.
He went on to call her his âsoulmateâ and praised how she ânever judgedâ him.
âNow Iâm realizing that I will never get to speak to or see you again. & Iâm so fucked up over that. I just wanted to hear you tell me that you love me one more time.. I love you so much,â he wrote.

Meanwhile, Naomi Christina said that she learned of the news on Monday morning.
âAlysha, Iâm struggling to even let out all of my tears right now because of the fact youâre gone. You were full of enthusiasm, joy, ambition, and laughs. I know we were only friends for a brief amount of time, but even then, you made me feel like I can be myself around you, share laughs with you, and just simply vibe with the amazingly beautiful aura you had,â she wrote.
Christina, who worked with Alysha on the short film Lost Angeles, went on to write: âI will never forget the positive impact you had on me. Rest in paradise.â
Underneath Alyshaâs brother Charlesâs post, fans shared their condolences.
