Enjoy your morning coffee in the wraparound balcony with panoramic mountain top views. During your vacation, you can go hiking, biking, kayaking (ATV), riding and snowmobiling in the area. Snowmobile club with trail system located 1 mile away. Stargaze in the dark skies, or visit the famous Cherry Springs. During winter months, December to February, you will need an ATV/SnowMobile in order to access the cabin. ATV rental available.

The cabin is situated on 20 acres to explore. Watch the stars from an outdoor campfire. The Potter County Snowmobile Club is located 1.3 miles away from the cabin. It offers miles of groomed or ungroomed snowmobile trails, depending on your experience level. The cabin is equipped with a 5-gallon dispenser for drinking water. The 500-gallon water catching system provides shower and toilet waters. Electric heat or a wood burning stove is used for heating. Firewood is available on the porch and stacked into the metal wood frame. Additional wood can be purchased for a fee.

Once you have negotiated the switchbacks of the mountain, it is only a five-minute drive into the town of Coudersport. There are restaurants, fuel stations, grocery stores and entertainment in Coudersport. Cherry Springs, Patterson State Parks, Denton Hill State Parks, Susquehannock State Parks, Prouty Place State Parks, Lyman Run State Parks, and Sinnemahoning State Parks are all state parks that you can visit. If horseback riding is what you’re looking for, Summit Trails is not far. Elk can be found 20 minutes away in Austin, Pennsylvania. There are 1 mile of switchbacks to get to the cabin, and the snow/ice makes the cabin road unsafe for SUVs and trucks. There is a flat space at the base to park a vehicle and utility trailer.
