24 Hours After Rumors of Joining Forces With Kevin Durant’s Suns’ Teammate, Kyrie Irving’s Mavericks Future Looks Crystal Clear

Kyrie Irving is one of the biggest prospects of the NBA draft, and there’s a lot of chatter about where he will end up when the new season of basketball begins.  The fans are, of course, waiting for some news about their favorite player. Analysts, meanwhile, are coming up with informed and knowledgeable perspectives about where Irving might be seen once the season starts.

There are several rumors linking Irving to the top NBA teams, including the Suns. But NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski has something else on his mind when it comes to Kyrie’s status this year.

Woj thinks it won’t be money that keeps Kyrie with the Mavericks

Adrian has been covering basketball since 2007. Nicknamed Woj, he debuted on ESPN in 2017.

He explains why Kyrie Irving might stay with the Mavericks, he says, “The market for Irving, the legitimate places that he will leave Dallas for that make sense, that are available to him, it’s extremely limited. Perhaps almost nil.  The full expectation is that he returns to Dallas. The question will be what kind of deal does he go back on? How many years on a contract? I don’t think the money will be much of an issue as to how many fully guaranteed years are there for Kyrie Irving. I think that’s where the negotiation is going to be between he and the Mavericks.”

Irving started her career in the 2011-2012 season and played for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He signed a five-year contract with them in 2014 and ended up being one part of the ‘Big Three’ trio, comprising LeBron James and Kevin Love, when James returned to the Cavaliers. He played for the Boston Celtics from 2017 to 2019 and the Brooklyn Nets until the 2023 season.

He is currently with the Mavericks. Outside of basketball, he has a fledging career as a writer. He was written, directed, and starred in a series of Uncle Drew episodes for Pepsi Max. He also had a role in Family Guy.

NBA Analysts are having a field day talking about which player can go where

Several NBA analysts are still talking shop about which player will be signing up with him. Some NBA players now are displaying radio silence as to which team they will go to. Some are giving statements that are asking their fans to have patience and wait and watch which roster they will be seen in when the season begins.
