Argentina star Yamila Rodriguez has a tattoo of both Diego Maradona and Cristiano Ronaldo on her leg.
Rodriguez’s ink was spotted during Argentina women’s opening game at the World Cup, losing 1-0 to Italy on Monday with her a second-half substitute.

The Argentina women’s striker plays for Brazilian side Palmeiras after leaving Boca Juniors, which explains her tattoo of Maradona after the great spent two spells at La Bombonera.
But her love for Ronaldo is more peculiar as she showed off her ink of the Manchester United icon’s face on her shin.
Ahead of Argentina women’s World Cup opening group game against Italy, Rodriguez posed with her socks rolled down and her shorts rolled up to reveal the eye-catching artwork of both superstars.
Rodriguez has seemingly made the unpopular decision to back Ronaldo in the GOAT debate over her compatriot Messi.

And fans were shocked to see her firmly in the Team Ronaldo camp, with one commenting: “Wait, she doesn’t even rate Messi.”
A second said: “She doesn’t even follow Messi on Instagram, she follows Cristiano!”
“There’s only Argentinians with Ronaldo tattoos but I never saw a Portuguese with a Messi Tattoo,” a third said.
Rodriguez has made no secret of her allegiance after she previously explained her tattoo before the World Cup, saying: “Ronaldo is, without a doubt, the best player in the world. I watched him play and thought: how can he be so perfect? He surprises me with everything that he does. With this tattoo, now I have Cristiano with me forever.”

But both famous Argentine No.10’s have something that Ronaldo won’t get his hands on. Maradona lifted the 1986 World Cup in a defining tournament for him after his ‘Hand of God’ goal against England and an scoring incredible solo run in the same quarter-final.
Rodriguez will hope she can emulate Maradona’s and Messi’s footsteps and lift the World Cup but La Albiceleste’s opening group game defeat has left them on the backfoot.
