In the name of the famous football player’s father, this man contacted the authorities of the provinces of Yvelines, Hauts-de-Seine and Seine-et-Marne. The purpose was to appear under this false identity to legalize the documents of two Algerians immigrating to France.

French law enforcement quickly apprehended the impostor. The Versailles court on February 10 sentenced the man to 10 months in prison and a fine of 2,000 euros.
