Stephen Curry made a cameo appearance alongside The Rock and Ayesha Curry in a 2017 episode of ‘Ballers’.
Stephen Curry is not just the greatest shooter in NBA history, he’s one of the most popular athletes of his generation. While Curry has been focused on hoops primarily, he has built a massive brand by making commercial appearances in advertisements and even on TV shows.
One of his most memorable cameos came opposite Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson on the Adam Levinson-created show ‘Ballers’. Steph appears alongside his wife, Ayesha Curry, on the season opener for Season 3 which aired in 2017.
The Rock is trying to sign Steph as a client and arranges a meeting with Curry over a phone call as the Curry’s are headed out for a vacation. Curry’s cameo ends with him telling Ayesha that he wants to get her in the mile-high club, while The Rock talks glowingly about how they could build their entire basketball division around a star like Curry.

The clip is just one of the many instances of Steph and Ayesha being proud of their relationship and not shying away from expressing their love on camera. It has been a high-profile relationship for years which has at times brought fan criticism upon the pair. The pair have known each other since they were both teenagers, getting married in 2011. Years after that, Curry would establish himself as one of the greatest players to step onto the court and Ayesha has been with him every step of the way.
