LeBron James Has Demolished His $37 L.A. Mansion And Started Building His Dream Home

LeBron James is one of the wealthiest athletes in the world. As of 2023, James has a net worth of about $1 billion. He became the first player in NBA history to reach billionaire status before retiring.

Keeping that in mind, the King obviously flaunts a lavish lifestyle in Los Angeles. James owns a $37 million mansion in Beverly Hills. However, the King has reportedly demolished his luxurious villa to start working on his dream home project.

“LeBron James has demolished his $37 million Beverly Hills mansion and begun work on building ‘his dream home,'” Front Office Sports tweeted.

James purchased the 13,000-square-foot mansion in 2020. The Spanish-Mission-style mansion was always doomed to be demolished. LeBron started a legal battle to get permits to rebuild the luxurious home.

It appears that the King has finally been granted the permit and will now build his dream home. Prior to being destroyed, the mansion featured vaulted ceilings, seven fireplaces, four bedrooms, eight bathrooms, seven fireplaces, a screening room, a trophy room, and a breakfast courtyard with a teal-tiled fountain.

Will LeBron James Play For The Los Angeles Lakers Next Season?

LeBron James’ future with the Los Angeles Lakers has been one of the biggest talking points for the NBA community since the team’s elimination in the 2023 Western Conference Finals vs. the Denver Nuggets.

Considering James is investing in rebuilding his $37 million mansion in Los Angeles, it could be a sign that he wants to stay with the team. But there are other concerns that could factor into his decision.

LeBron James is reportedly frustrated with Anthony Davis’ inability to stay fit. A report suggested that it could play a role in Davis getting traded from the Lakers next season.

As for LeBron, he had a brilliant 2022-23 NBA season. The King averaged 28.9 PPG, 8.3 RPG, and 6.8 APG during the regular season.
